Happy 4th Anniversary to Us!

This year, on August 15th, it was our fourth wedding anniversary. We decided to celebrate by going on a much needed private overnight get-away... withOUT the kids (yes, even the baby-- thanks to our awesome friends!). We searched for a time for an affordable cabin to rent and found this cute little place in Christopher Creek. The first day, we spent the afternoon relaxing in the cool pine forest, later dressed up and went out to a yummy dinner, and then bought ice cream and enjoyed it while soaking in the private jacuzzi. Sweet, sweet times. We enjoyed the jacuzzi again the next morning and checked out of our cabin and relaxed a bit at a nearby lake shore before heading home. We love our children and are grateful to be their parents, but this little time away was very special. It was so refreshing and rejuvenating to have uninterrupted time together to be reminded of the depth of our friendship and the fun of our
romance
